Job description

Location: Dorset or West Midlands (hybrid) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

We are working with a high-growth, mission-driven business in their search for two SC Cleared Cloud Support Engineers to provide 1st and 2nd line support across secure, cloud-hosted customer environments.

You will work with Microsoft Azure, support enterprise tooling, and take ownership of operational tasks from request through to resolution, while contributing to ongoing improvements and automation. Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support, including investigation, fault finding, and escalation where needed.
  • Respond to user and customer requests, providing clear updates and maintaining good service standards.
  • Administer Azure Landing Zone environments (access control, policies, subscriptions, networking, monitoring).
  • Support enterprise collaboration and development platforms used by customers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
  • Follow secure working practices and change-control processes.

Required Experience

  • Experience in a customer-facing 1st/2nd line support role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration.
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, routing, Firewalls).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar Scripting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, secure environment.

You will be required on-site in either Dorset or the West Midlands 2-3 times per month, and the role will be paying up to £65,000 per annum.
