Lead Data Analyst | Leadership | Data Strategy | Azure | AI We've had an exclusive opportunity go live for a lead data analyst to join one of our long term clients in the financial services sector. The role is very remote flexible, maybe a couple of times a month on-site hybrid but they can be very flexible to suit the situation of each person.

This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with senior leaders, guide a talented team of Data Analysts and influence how data powers automation, insight and decision-making across the organisation. You'll be leading a team of 3 and need to show proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders (finance, sales, and credit teams) and lead those conversations.

What You'll Do

• Lead & mentor a team of Data Analysts, championing best practice.
• Shape and deliver the organisation's data strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee the design and optimisation of data pipelines, integrations and architecture.
• Build strong relationships across the business, translating data into clear insights.
• Drive end-to-end automation, operational efficiency and AI-powered improvements.

• Experience leading or mentoring in a senior data role.
• Strong SQL and database design capability.
• Solid understanding of data integrations and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure would be a big plus
• Python skills for automation and API integrations.
• Proven ability to build, optimise and troubleshoot ETL pipelines.
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in the financial services sector would be a bonus
