What Will You Do

Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure, primarily within Microsoft Azure.Support and integrate hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises systems and remote operational environments.Contribute to infrastructure and systems architecture, working across a broad range of platforms beyond core cloud services.

Implement and maintain secure networking and connectivity, including routing, firewalls, private connectivity, and hybrid integration.

Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, and cost, proactively identifying issues and improvement opportunities.Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud-related incidents.Contribute to and support automation initiatives, working alongside platform teams to improve consistency and reduce operational overhead.Apply security-by-design principles, implementing controls and working with Cyber and Security teams on secure infrastructure patterns.Support and deliver infrastructure projects, including new services, enhancements, and platform improvements.Create and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation, including build documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver infrastructure solutions aligned with business and operational needs.Actively contribute to FinOps and cost optimisation initiatives, helping to identify and deliver ongoing cloud cost savings.Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices, recommending improvements where they provide clear value.Provide support in relation to new project deploymentsProviding assistance with troubleshooting application related issues., Are you a Data Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments?
