Principal Cyber Security Risk & Audit Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Principal EHS Consultant with strong Fire Safety, Construction Safety and general H&S management to join our fast-growing EHS consulting team based in the United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role suitable for a candidate within a commutable location to the London area. The role will involve a combination of client-site work, home-working, and collaboration with colleagues across Antea Group's global network. Occasional overnight travel may be required (up to 25%). Key Responsibilities *

• Lead and deliver complex H&S, Fire and Construction Safety projects for multinational clients
• Provide senior-level technical expertise across these service areas
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant legislation and standards
• Support business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and service-line growth
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level consultants, contributing to team capability development
• Prepare high-quality reports, assessments, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams and global colleagues to deliver integrated solutions
• Maintain strong working knowledge of UK H&S, Fire Safety, and Construction Safety regulations and emerging industry trends

• Robust experience in Fire Safety, CDM, and EHS consulting (8+ years expected)
• Strong understanding of UK legislation including CDM 2015, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, DSEAR, and relevant British Standards
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and deliver under pressure
• Confident in using Microsoft Office and client-specific digital platforms
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to supporting team development
• Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IOSH, IFE)
• Recognised Fire Risk Assessor or Fire Engineer qualification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS *

• Degree in a relevant field
• Construction safety experience desirable
• Chartered or a desire to work toward chartership (e.g., CMIOSH, CEng, MCABE, MIFireE)
• DSEAR assessment experience desirable
