FPGA Engineer

They are looking for an FPGA Engineer with the following background:

• Strong experience in FPGA development using VHDL or Verilog
• Broad electronics background including schematic capture (Altium or similar)
• Embedded software experience (C/C++ or similar)
• Understanding of digital systems and control principles

We are supporting a specialist engineering company based in Cambridge developing advanced control and monitoring technology for power electronics systems used in energy and industrial applications. They are looking to add an FPGA Engineer to their team in a hands-on, multidisciplinary role. This position sits within a small, highly technical team working on hardware that directly impacts real-world power conversion systems. You'll be involved across the full development lifecycle, contributing to digital design, embedded systems, and hardware development in a collaborative environment. The role will involve FPGA development alongside broader electronics design, including schematic capture and system-level integration. You'll also work on embedded software, supporting control and communication between hardware components in high-reliability systems.
