electrical power, communication, hydraulics, and pneumatics, for seismic, defence, subsea technology (e.g., Diving). * Write test specifications and qualification procedures for subsea scenarios such as tension, torsion, compression, and cyclic bending, when required. * Provide technical support to production teams during manufacturing to ensure quality and conformity to design. * Investigate field failures or performance issues, implementing robust design improvements. Qualifications and Experience * Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics, or similar. * Experienced engineering designer using 2D CAD or 3D CAD / and /or SolidWorks. * Some understanding of subsea technology, including seismic energy, renewable, and marine/diving applications in high-pressure environments. * Good knowledge of electrical theory (voltage stress, resistance, voltage drop, current rating, and heating effects), hydraulics/pneumatics (pressure drop, fluid mechanics), and mechanical engineering (materials, stress/strain, fatigue). * Knowledge or interest in electrical cable design and construction, including cable geometry, helix angles, lay-lengths, and copper specifications. * Proficient in 2D CAD software (preferably AutoCAD); proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks) advantageous. * Preferred: Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems and experience in corrective action resolution. * Experience with engineering documentation control systems (SolidWorks EPDM advantageous).
