Job description

We are looking for someone to design and implement an observability model for a bank's payments platform, leveraging Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry to improve infrastructure and application monitoring while reducing alert noise. Responsibilities

  • Architect a collision-free environment by defining standards for Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry coexistence, including collector configurations and agent prioritization.
  • Build infrastructure observability frameworks with advanced, noise-free metrics (e.g., latency-based health indicators) and AI-enhanced alerting systems.
  • Develop multi-model approaches for application/business service observability, incorporating transaction volume trending, real-time message reconciliation, and topology-aware monitoring for diverse services.
  • Leverage OpenTelemetry for instrumentation in custom applications and Dynatrace for aggregation, shifting from SQL-based views to tool-driven dashboards and APIs.
