We are working exclusively with a well-established procurement consultancy , part of a larger professional services group with significant UK market presence, to appoint a Senior IT Procurement Consultant into its growing IT procurement practice., * Leading IT procurement transformation programmes for major public and private sector organisations
- Developing category strategy across software, SaaS, cloud services, and IT infrastructure
- Managing high-stakes commercial negotiations with global technology vendors
- Designing and implementing procurement operating models
- Supporting M&A due diligence for IT procurement workstreams
- Building tools, frameworks, and accelerators that scale the practice

Requirements
This is a high-impact, client-facing role leading transformational IT procurement programmes across public and private sector clients. You will operate across software licensing, cloud infrastructure, SaaS optimisation , and large-scale IT services procurement, driving category strategy, leading high-value vendor negotiations , and shaping operating model design from the ground up., * Demonstrable experience managing £5m+ IT spend portfolios with measurable value delivery
- Deep expertise in subscription economics, cloud commercials , and enterprise licensing agreements
- Public sector procurement experience highly preferred (not essential)
- Strong command of SaaS negotiations, cloud contracts, vendor management , and category strategy
- Background as a Senior IT Procurement Manager, Head of IT Category , or existing procurement consultant seeking greater scale and influence
- Comfortable in a client-facing consultancy environment - commercially astute, autonomous, and delivery-focused
