Software Engineering Manager

Do you have expertise with backend software development within finance / trading environments, combined with strong leadership skills?, * You have achieved a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or similar technical discipline from a top tier / Russel Group university, backed by A's at A-level

• You have experience in a similar role in a finance / trading / hedge fund environment
• You have strong technical / team leadership skills, happy conducting 1-2-1s, providing coaching and mentoring as well as project leadership
• You have expertise with modern C# .Net Core, Python skills would also be of benefit (will also consider other OO languages e.g. C++, Java)
• You have a strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and have experience across the full software development lifecycle
• You're a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem solving, working on complex, distributed systems
• You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
