Lead the end-to-end design of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across applications, data, and technology domainsDefine and assure key architecture artefacts including High-Level Designs, Technical Options Papers, and Architecture DecisionsAct as a lead SME, working closely with engineering teams to establish architectural guardrails, standards, and best practicesCollaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into practical, technology-driven solutionsSupport senior client stakeholders in shaping their case for change, including cost estimation, planning, and roadmap developmentWork across agile delivery environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), contributing to both client-facing and internal initiativesDrive continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle, including DevOps, automation, and observability practicesWhat they are looking for
Requirements
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineer within complex delivery environmentsStrong hands-on software engineering background, with the ability to build credibility quickly with engineering teamsExperience designing and delivering solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Solid understanding of architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)Ability to operate across multiple architecture domains, with strength in at least one:
Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security
Experience producing and governing architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, design decisions, roadmaps)Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems)Experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)Familiarity with modelling tools and frameworks (UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq or similar)Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and consulting skillsTechnology environment
Youll work in a technology-agnostic environment, using the right tools for each client, typically including:Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCPArchitecture frameworks: TOGAF, ZachmanDelivery methodologies: SAFe, Scrum, KanbanModelling tools: UML, ArchiMate, ArdoqWhats on offer
