and driving meaningful change in complex environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and enhance middle office systems supporting:Trade booking and lifecycle managementFund accounting workflows (including NAV calculations)Investor and client reporting platformsDevelop scalable, robust solutions using Java and SQL across a distributed, client-server architectureWork closely with business teams (operations, finance, client services) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsContribute to reengineering and modernisation of legacy systems, improving performance, scalability, and resilienceTake ownership of production systems, including:Investigating and resolving issuesImproving monitoring, logging, and reliabilityWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code and contribute to CI/CD and release processesParticipate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and technical planningSupport continuous improvement of tooling, processes, and system performanceRole Requirements:Strong Java development experienceSolid SQL/database knowledge (e.G. SQL Server, Snowflake or similar)Good understanding of client-server and distributed system architecturesProven ability to deliver impact beyond BAU (e.G. system improvements, reengineering, automation)Comfortable working across both development and production environmentsPreferred Experience:Experience within middle office domains (trade processing, fund accounting, investor reporting)Background in asset management, hedge funds, or investment bankingExposure to front-end technologies (e.G.
