Tasks
- Manage Azure infrastructure and data center operations.
- Enhance security through Microsoft Defender and incident response.
- Drive automation and process optimization efforts., Design, operation, and further development of the data center as well as the Azure infrastructure.

Operation of the Windows Server landscape including Active Directory/Domain Services and GPOs.

Cross-team collaboration in the Linux world (RHEL).

Close cooperation with Software Engineering/DevOps and specialist departments. Security & Endpoint Management

Operation and further development of the Microsoft Defender environment.

Participation in incident and alert handling (monitoring/SOC).

Analysis, prioritization, and implementation of measures to strengthen the security situation. Automation & Process Optimization

Develop and operate automations with Power Automate, scripting, and central task manager platforms.

Identify, simplify, and standardize processes and workflows.

Support teams in introducing new automation workflows. Project Work

Lead and/or participate in infrastructure projects.

Create concepts, decision bases, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with internal specialist departments and external partners. Strength- and interest-based service package responsibility

Take over or co-design service packages in the Data Center Services team (e.g., automation, cloud coordination, identity & policy, security, certificates, e-mail) according to your strengths, interests, and development goals.
Requirements
- Strong IT knowledge, especially in Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with Azure and Windows Server environments.
- Analytical skills and teamwork in diverse settings., Broad, solid IT know-how and passion for holistic infrastructure topics and modern security technologies, especially Microsoft Defender.

Experience with Azure infrastructure (compute, networking, IAM/Entra ID, monitoring).

Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory (ADS).

Knowledge and motivation for the Linux world (RHEL).
