As a Lead IAM Engineer - SailPoint IIQ, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding of applications into the IAM landscape using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)

  • Migrate applications from legacy Aveksa IGA platforms to SailPoint, ensuring robust authentication and authorization frameworks

  • Configure and implement application onboarding using standard IAM processes and architectural principles

  • Drive standardization and automation of SailPoint onboarding patterns to improve scalability and efficiency

  • Identify gaps in existing onboarding approaches and collaborate with the IGA platform team to define reusable standards and best practices

  • Support IAM operations by managing IGA service requests, onboarding incidents, and access governance tasks

  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum (SAFe) ceremonies as part of an IAM DevOps team

  • Coordinate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to validate the implementation of designed IAM capabilities

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to offshore teams while ensuring alignment with IAM strategy and governance standards

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in IAM and security engineering

  • At least 5 years of hands-on expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions

  • Strong experience in application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and access certifications

  • Proven experience integrating SailPoint with enterprise systems using LDAP, REST/SOAP APIs, SCIM, databases, SaaS applications, and SAP systems

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure environments, and Linux servers

  • Hands-on experience operating in Agile or DevOps delivery models

  • Strong consulting mindset with excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills

You Should Possess the Ability to:

  • Design and implement scalable identity governance and access management solutions

  • Drive end-to-end application onboarding, from intake and design to deployment and acceptance

  • Identify opportunities for automation and standardization within IAM processes

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and security teams to deliver IAM capabilities aligned with enterprise strategy

  • Analyze complex integration requirements and implement secure SailPoint connectors

  • Mentor team members and guide offshore delivery teams

  • Communicate IAM concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with organizational IAM policies, governance frameworks, and security standards
