You and your role
As a QA Tester, you'll spend your days diving into different digital products, figuring out what needs to be tested and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. You'll get to know the requirements inside out so you can design the right tests, create any test data you need, and run everything from manual checks to automated scripts using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Zephyr or TestComplete. When something breaks, you'll log it, track it, and help the team understand what went wrong.
A big part of the role is helping the team work smarter, using automation where it makes sense, suggesting improvements to how testing is done, and getting involved in conversations about best practices. You'll also take accessibility seriously, making sure products meet WCAG 2.2 standards. Throughout it all, you'll be part of a supportive test community, sharing what you learn, contributing ideas and helping keep everything aligned with government standards. It's a mix of hands on testing, problem-solving, collaborating, and constantly finding ways to level up how the team works., Disability Confident About Disability Confident A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
