Web Designer & Developer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Web Designer & Developer to join our team. The role involves collaborating closely with internal and external clients to understand website requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions. You will present design concepts, develop visually engaging layouts, and ensure seamless functionality across all web platforms. This position requires both hands-on development expertise and the ability to guide small teams while delivering high-quality work. Responsibilities Liaise with internal and external clients to gather and define website requirements. Present design concepts, prototypes, and layout options to clients for review and approval. Design and develop web pages incorporating graphics, animations, and interactive elements to maximise visual impact and accessibility. Produce, modify, and maintain websites, web applications, and user interfaces. Create clean, standards-compliant XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery code. Write, edit, and publish website content in alignment with project goals and brand guidelines. Apply modern design principles including responsive layouts, typography, minimalism, and consistency across all pages. Ensure websites are user-friendly, visually cohesive, and optimised for performance. Lead and mentor small project teams while managing your own development tasks.

Strong proficiency in XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience designing visually appealing and functional web interfaces. Ability to create responsive layouts and maintain consistency in design elements. Understanding of modern web design principles including typography, minimalism, and accessibility. Experience writing and publishing web content. Strong communication skills with the ability to present design options to clients. Ability to lead small teams and collaborate effectively across functions.
