Senior Embedded Engineer / Ingenieur - Zephyr RTOS (Contract)

Location: Switzerland | 80-100% | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Start: ASAP | Contract until 30 September 2026 (extension possible) For a highly specialized embedded development team within an international industrial environment, we are looking for an experienced Zephyr RTOS Expert to strengthen development capacity on a temporary basis. This role is part of a technically demanding product development environment focused on Zephyr-based embedded systems. Your Mission As part of the CCP team, you will: Develop Zephyr-based embedded products for industrial applications Adapt and implement Zephyr RTOS for internal product requirements Contribute actively to the Zephyr Open-Source community Ensure high product quality standards in embedded industrial environments Work closely with hardware, firmware and system engineers Your Profile This role requires deep and hands-on expertise. Mandatory requirements: Extensive and proven experience with Zephyr RTOS Strong background in industrial embedded product development Solid understanding of product lifecycle, quality standards and robustness requirements Experience working in and contributing to Open-Source environments Confident in English (written and spoken) German is a plus Work Model 80-100% workload 2-3 days onsite per week (primarily Tuesday & Thursday) Hybrid setup Why This Role?
