Job description

Join the Intelligent Edge teams at Schneider Digital! These teams are responsible for delivering a robust, secure, and scalable software platform that enables safe and efficient connectivity for Schneider Electric products.

The Core Services team develops the essential cross-cutting services of this platform, including identity management, authentication, authorization, auditing, notifications, and more.

We are looking for a Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of the services developed. In this role, you will be key to validating deliverables, automating tests, and continuously improving QA practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement test strategies (functional, non-functional, automated, and manual).
  • Design test plans, test cases, and automated scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
  • Develop mocks and stubs to support testing in a stubbed environment.
  • Integrate tests into GitHub CI/CD pipelines and ensure their continuous execution.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers, Proxy PO, and architects.
  • Execute test campaigns and analyze results to identify and report issues.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA tools and processes.
  • Ensure services comply with security, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Support the creation of technical documentation and quality reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, ideally in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and the Robot Framework.
  • Experience working with GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of distributed architectures, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with security and performance testing practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a technically demanding team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in IoT, cloud services, or Edge Computing is a plus.
  • Fluent in English
