Job description

  • Partner with the CISO to harmonize security and privacy compliance programs, integrating policies, practices, and investigations for maximum effectiveness. Serve as the key liaison among information systems, compliance, and legal teams
  • Act as the lead information security consultant, providing expert guidance to all departments on data security issues and driving consistent adoption of industry best practices
  • Lead cybersecurity projects within the CISO organization, delivering on time while optimizing resources and mitigating risks effectively
  • Serve as CISO backup, delivering senior-level guidance, handling escalations, and driving team development and management when required
  • Oversee initial and ongoing security risk assessments, driving analysis, mitigation, and remediation. Develop and execute a holistic security risk management framework
  • Perform ongoing monitoring, audits, and reviews of security records and activities to ensure full adherence to regulations and internal policies
  • Launch, develop, and deliver organization-wide information security training and awareness programs to foster a robust security culture
  • Anticipate emerging security threats, trends, risks, and vulnerabilities by assessing industry best practices; deploy targeted tools and processes to neutralize them
  • Direct security incident and event management, coordinating response, containment, investigation, and reporting for optimal outcomes

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and the operations of computer hardware, software, and IT systems
  • Comprehensive expertise in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and industry-leading security practices, spanning risk management, incident response, and compliance
  • Proven expertise in vulnerability management
  • Strong hands-on experience in cloud security
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud
  • Skilled in Microsoft Defender suite
  • Hybrid architect-engineer background
