Job description
An Edinburgh Financial Services/FinTech organisation is currently looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join their team on a Contract basis. Supporting a large/complex programme of work, the primary focus of the roles will involve managing & optimising their cloud infrastructure in AWS and to be successful, previous technical knowledge & experience should include
Requirements
- Previous & proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer (AWS DevOps Engineer Certified)
- Deep expertise with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS.
- Containerisation and Orchestration with K8s, EKS and Docker
- Kubernetes package management with Helm Charts
- Service Mesh with Linkerd
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps
- Scripting & Automation with Bash, Python, Go and PowerShell
- Configuration Management with Ansible
- Version Control & Collaboration with Azure DevOps
- Monitoring & Logging with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
- Networking & Security with VPC, Nginx, HAProxy, AWS CloudFront, AWS ALB/NLB, AWS WAF & Shield and SIEM tools
- Databases with DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, SQL
