Job description

As "Embedded Software Engineer", you develop and verify embedded software with respect to specification, defined cost, quality and schedule, and contribute to the department continuous improvement.

As "Signal Processing Engineer", you design signal processing algorithms in embedded software developments.

The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:

  • Contribute to identify customer needs and estimating software development efforts
  • Model and analyze software requirements
  • Design signal processing algorithms
  • Perform software design, code and integration
  • Perform software verification (review/analyses/high low level test)
  • Comply with industry guidelines (e.g. DO-178C)
  • Support client during testing activities
  • Perform maintenance of previously developed projects.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development methodology and to technical innovation

Requirements

  • University Degree (Master) in software or robotics Engineering
  • Knowledge/experience in designing and implementing signal processing algorithms (Accel/Tacho/FIR)
  • At least 3 years of industrial experience in Embedded Software Engineering activities, ideally including FPGA
  • Ideally experienced, with industrial development processes (e.g Aerospace, Energy, Automotive, Medical or any related industry)
  • Ability to understand and contextualize customer needs, in industrial development or research context
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and to prioritize duties to meet deadlines
  • Good team player and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Autonomous, proactive and "can do" attitude
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and curiosity
  • Fluent in French with very good command of English (spoken and written).
