ServiceNow Platform Engineer (Contract)

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Platform Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team, working on the build and enhancement of enterprise ServiceNow solutions within a complex digital environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, shaping technical solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver real business impact. What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and enhancing ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet evolving business needs
  • Translating requirements into robust technical designs and scalable solutions
  • Developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and modern web technologies
  • Supporting testing activities, including UAT and defect resolution
  • Working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintaining high-quality documentation and coding standards
  • Identifying opportunities for platform improvement and optimisation

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience working on the ServiceNow platform in a technical capacity
  • Hands-on expertise in scripting, configuration, and platform development
  • Experience with modules such as GRC, IRM, or SPM
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, APIs (REST/SOAP), XML, and JSON
  • Understanding of structured delivery approaches such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow certifications (eg CSA, CAD, CIS)
  • Experience working in consulting or customer-facing environments
  • Exposure to solution design or technical leadership activities
