JAVA DEVELOPER

You will be joining an experienced engineering team developing and enhancing secure backend systems that underpin mission-critical capabilities. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining Java-based services within highly secure environments, collaborating closely with other engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver robust and reliable software.

• Active Enhanced DV (eDV) Clearance
• Strong Java development experience
• Experience working within secure or government environments
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend services
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR THE JAVA DEVELOPER TO HAVE…

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure

• New contract opportunity working on highly secure operational systems within the National Security domain
• Enhanced DV (eDV) Clearance required for access to high-side systems
• Cheltenham based - 3 days per week on-site
• 24 month contract
• Daily rate up to £700 DOE
