Job description
Your responsibilities include designing and operating Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure and implementing as well as maintaining GitOps workflows for platform and application deployments.
- You build and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Furthermore, you develop and automate tools and operational scripts using Python.
- You support product teams in adopting platform standards and deployment best practices.
- Also, you enhance platform reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
- You collaborate closely with DevOps engineers and development teams to continuously improve the platform ecosystem.
- Finally, you contribute to platform observability, monitoring and operational automation.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- You have strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and container-based platforms.
- Furthermore, you have experience implementing GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD or FluxCD) and building CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD.
- You are experienced with cloud platforms (particullarly AWS) and Python for automation and tooling.
- You have worked extensively in Linux-based environments and with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
- You are familiar with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace, have experience with operating platform services for multiple development teams as well as cloud-native architectures and microservices,
- Also, you bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and collaborate effectively within international, agile teams.
- You are fluent in English; German skills are a plus
