Job description

We're seeking a Backend Software Developer with +5 years experience to join our team. You'll work hands-on with advanced Golang, distributed systems, and modern cloud technologies, supporting our ongoing growth and commitment to security, scalability, and reliability., * Develop high quality, reusable, readable, testable, and maintainable code/libraries/modules.

  • Participate in requirement analysis with solution architects and product managers.
  • Take part in the definition of the overall system architecture and landscape.
  • Implement functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, etc.).
  • Review and refactor code.
  • Adopt and promote software development best practices.
  • Mentor team members in all aspects of the SDLC., * First 30 Days: Set up development environment, complete security and code review training, shadow senior developers, run builds/tests, and learn product architecture. Participate in Kanban flow and introductory TDD exercises. Join pair programming and understand CI/E2E testing pipelines.
  • Days 31-60: Make your first contributions with guidance, join workshops on secure coding (OWASP), practice TDD, participate in pair programming, use E2E tests, contribute to CI/CD, take ownership of a Kanban ticket, and write feature/test documentation.
  • Days 61-90: Deliver features end-to-end, patch a medium-level security issue, lead or join security retrospectives, optimize part of the CI/CD workflow, ensure secure feature delivery, refine Kanban/process metrics for backend releases, mentor newcomers, and document lessons learned and improvements.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience in backend systems or systems programming.
  • 7+ years of experience with procedural, object-oriented, or functional programming languages.
  • Proficiency with Git or similar distributed version control systems.
