Software DevOps Engineer, Apeldoorn - ALTEN Nederland

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Software DevOps Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects in Apeldoorn.

As Software DevOps Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software integration and simulation applications
• Automating deployment, monitoring, and integration processes within Linux-based environments
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across environments, supporting software integration activities
• Contributing to infrastructure-as-code initiatives and DevOps best practices within Agile teams
• Supporting the team in implementing security, monitoring, and compliance measures

• Holding a Dutch passport (this role requires Dutch security clearance due to work in the defence sector, please note that only candidates who meet government eligibility requirements for this screening can be considered)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in DevOps, software integration, or system administration
• Experience in programming/scripting languages such as JAVA and C++ or Linux
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git is a plus
• Proactive, quality-focused, and eager to continuously learn
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Team player with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
