Job description
My client is a London Based Software house.
We have exciting opportunities in Java and web application development working on Swift message routing and payments applications.
You should have demonstrable experience in all or most of the following:
- Extensive experience in Java.
- Modern web application development using Java and ideally, with commercial experience of Vaadin.
- Strong OO fundamentals.
- Designing and consuming web services, RESTful APIs.
- Vaadin
Desirable
- Understanding of Swift, payments industry and ISO 20022 messages.
- Experience of HPE NonStop
- Other programming languages (eg C++).
- Familiarity with Gradle
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot
- Experience with CI/CD solutions, testing frameworks and build tools.
About you:
- You must have 4 years industrial experience of designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software, primarily using Java.
- You must have a solid understanding of software design principles and commonly used design patterns.
- You should hold a degree in a technical discipline.
- You must be able to work independently or as a member of a team.
- You must have excellent communication skills.
- You must be able to adopt and improve development team best practices, standards and tooling.
