C++ Software Engineer

We are supporting a technical consultancy that is seeking two Freelance C++ Software Engineers to support ongoing projects for a customer in the semiconductor equipment sector. These roles involve contributing to complex software used in production machinery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

There are two roles across the projects:

• Refactoring: Restructuring existing computer code to improve internal structure without changing external behaviour
• Feature Development: Implementing feature requests from the end customer
• All work is connected to equipment development for semiconductor production machines
• The team environment is described as chaotic, and the consultancy is looking for individuals who can help bring structure and stability

• Minimum 5 years' experience with C++
• Experience in the semiconductor industry
• Ability to understand and work on complex software systems
• English language skills suitable for professional communication
