Job description
- Develop and maintain an in-house audio toolset, which supports the creation and implementation of audio assets found in-game.
- Closely collaborate with other members of the Audio team and the wider Rockstar Tools team.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technologies, modern UI standards, and drive their adoption within the toolset.
- Balance meeting short-term user needs with long-term development of the audio tool suite; identify opportunities to optimise user workflows
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent .NET/C# skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a mixed-discipline team.
- Ability to work within a schedule and deliver effectively to deadlines., * An interest in games and interactive sound/music.
- Familiarity with commercial audio content creation software.
- Experience of intuitive user interface design and implementation for complex data.
- Knowledge of audio synthesis and DSP.
- C++ experience.
- WPF experience.

This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar's state-of-the-art game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
