Job description

You will join a centralised IT Development and Delivery team, working on in-house software that powers pension services across the business. The team takes a pragmatic approach to real business needs, working with Vue, Blazor, Azure, C#, and .NET Core, choosing the right technology for the job rather than chasing the latest trends., * Work across all application tiers including front end, business logic/services, and database layers

Operate as part of an agile team, delivering incremental value at speed
Collaborate with business experts and communicate solutions in non-technical terms
Write unit tests and configure Azure environments alongside core development work
Support automated processes for building, testing, documenting, and deploying web applications at scale

Requirements

Proven experience working as part of a fast-paced development team delivering incremental value
Front-end skills across HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Vue.js and Blazor
Server-side development using ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core
Database knowledge with emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core
Experience with Microsoft Azure web apps and services
Basic UI/UX design ability
Right to work in the UK
Ability to pass a DBS check, credit check, and provide five years of employment or educational references

DESIRABLE

Knowledge of the pensions market or experience working in a regulated environment
Familiarity with modern cloud/system solutions

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
