Data Science Consultant

We're working with a growing consultancy delivering advanced analytics and optimisation solutions. They're looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant to help solve complex operational and supply chain challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data science with mathematical optimisation, working on real-world problems with tangible impact.

The Role

You'll design and deliver optimisation and data science solutions, working closely with clients to turn complex business problems into scalable, production-ready models.

Projects include predictive modelling, simulation, and optimisation, often delivered using modern platforms such as Palantir Foundry alongside Python and cloud technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building optimisation models and ML solutions to support decision-making
• Applying techniques such as mixed integer programming, simulation and advanced analytics
• Developing production-ready pipelines and models
• Working directly with stakeholders to shape solutions and deliver value
• Delivering projects in an Agile (Discovery ? Alpha ? Beta ? Live) environment

• Strong Python and data science / machine learning experience

• Exposure to optimisation or operations research (e.g. MIP, linear/non-linear programming, solvers like Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools)

• Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions

• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms
• Background in supply chain, defence, or operational analytics
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
