Job description

This is a great opportunity for a senior data analyst to join a growing company at the forefront of data usage within the Insurance industry. You will be working with senior stakeholders to influence how and they interact with data and how their data needs are met and will have the opportunity to drive the direction and fundamentals of our journey to be a leader in data driven insurance., * Lead data workstreams in business transformation programs across CRM, finance, claims and underwriting.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Distribution, Claims, Marketing, Underwriting and Finance communities to translate their business problems into clearly defined data requirements and analytical needs.
  • Define and maintain a knowledge base of the CFC data models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise use cases and align solutions with business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and data quality enhancement.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design metrics and KPIs to move the dial on data usage and governance.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant AI-enabled analytics trends and tools, and evaluate where they can be responsibly applied to enhance insight, efficiency or decision-making, in partnership with data & AI teams.

Requirements

You'll bring significant experience in data analysis, with a strong grounding in SQL and a solid understanding of data modelling principles, including dimensional modelling techniques. You're comfortable working with cloud platforms and modern data architectures, and have hands-on experience analysing, profiling, and cleaning data to ensure it is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose. You stay curious about emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks, and are keen to apply new technologies where they can add real value. You enjoy working collaboratively, partnering closely with data engineers and architects to ensure analytical models align with wider enterprise standards and long-term architectural direction. Experience in the insurance industry and working within an Agile environment would be beneficial, but above all you're someone who combines technical depth with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
