Job description

As the Product Support Engineer for the E-7 AEW&C programme, you will implement Product Support philosophies and techniques while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Product Support Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with other specialists in the department., * Develop and maintain plans and processes to ensure Product Support outputs for the E-7 AEW&C meet technical, regulatory, and company requirements.

  • Produce routine Product Support deliverables specific to the E-7 AEW&C programme.
  • Identify, collect, analyse, document, and provide actionable data and information relevant to Product Support activities.
  • Support internal and external briefings on Product Support engineering activities and communicate progress within the department.
  • Liaise with Engineering, Reliability & Maintainability, Integrated Logistics Support, Publications, and Supply Chain teams in both Boeing UK and USA to exchange data and information supporting the E-7 AEW&C.
  • Maintain Data Governance and Data Assurance to ensure Data Integrity and Quality.
  • Identify and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Support audits and reviews to verify that products and data meet required standards.
  • Work under the direction of the Lead Technical Support Engineer and the BDUK Support Engineering Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance (essential)
  • Degree in a relevant STEM discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, * Ideally, some experience or understanding of Support Engineering in a military environment, Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required
