We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Working Student to join our Tech Strategy & Operations team on our journey to continuously improve how we monitor, analyze, and support Delivery Hero's global technology organization.
Be part of the team that helps shape how Tech performance is measured and managed across Delivery Hero's global platforms. Working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Engineering leadership, you will contribute to high-impact internal tools and web-based reporting systems that provide visibility into financial performance, operational KPIs, and organizational health across multiple tech verticals.
You will focus on end-to-end development of internal web applications destined for C-level reporting, that translate critical financial and operational KPIs into transparent, data-driven insights for the global tech organization.
In this role you will:
- Contribute to the building and maintenance of our core web-based reporting dashboards and internal products, with a primary focus on the Frontend.
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and analysts to brainstorm and implement continuous product improvements.
- Help ensure our reports stay live, APIs fetch accurate metrics, and the database remains perfectly synced with the UI.
- Support troubleshooting of reporting issues and identifying inconsistencies in datasets or calculations and contribute as an additional pair of Quality Assurance.
- Assist in documenting internal workflows and identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of our reporting infrastructure.
Requirements
Currently doing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Computer Science/Data Analytics/Business Administration or a related field
- Availability of 20 hours per week for 12 months.
- Flexible approach to new tasks and eager to learn the broader landscape of Full-Stack Development and Data Analytics.
- Strong foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (demonstrated via portfolio, GitHub, or bootcamp).
- Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of React components and state management.
- Basic knowledge of BigQuery or other databases.
- Openness to new technologies and AI-supported development.
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding of version control (Git/GitHub).
- Backend Development: some awareness of NodeJS and how REST APIs function.
- Basic SQL/Python skills and an interest in making data "useful" through automation and insights.
