Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
Implement AI and deep learning algorithms to improve system functionality, such as sensor data processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions into avionics systems
Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) and safety-critical software development practices
Conduct testing, validation, and verification of software to meet aerospace requirements

Completed studies in computer science, aerospace engineering or a comparable
Professional experience in the field of IT/information systems and aerospace
Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications
Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., ARINC 653, DO-178C) and safety-critical software development
Experience in C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks)
Experience with virtualization technologies (including resource segregation and drivers)
Knowledge of Hardware Architectures (x86, ARM and RISC-V)
Experience with CI/CD Methodologies
Fluent English spoken and written
German is a plus
