Solutions Engineer

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you identify customer needs for NetApp solutions and services and discuss the available options. You analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solution concepts, usually in collaboration with our partners. You are able to present NetApp technologies at various levels of responsibility within the customer organization, adapt to your conversation partners, and explore their motivations and decision drivers. You are responsible for the technical business area development and presentation of the proposed solutions., Your role includes representing NetApp from a technical perspective, particularly through the analysis of existing IT, network, application, backup, cloud, and storage environments at customers and prospects. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will design solution concepts and architectures and present them to larger audiences during technical customer presentations. Maintaining active contact with customers in collaboration with the responsible Client Executive and ensuring that technically complex requirements are professionally developed are key aspects of this role. You will support a small amount of important and innovative customers in the public sector in the Hamburg region.

• IT knowledge in areas such as enterprise/cloud computing, virtualization, storage, backup, or high-availability solutions
• Ideally, experience with storage technologies and data management
• Successfully completed technical training or technical degree with relevant professional experience
• Excellent German and English skills
