  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software and automation engineers.
  • Design and develop engineering tools for control software platforms (e.g., TwinCAT, Simulink, IoT Portocols).
  • Implement transformation workflows using Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder, and MATLAB Coder.
  • Ensure secure coding practices across all development stages, including threat modeling and compliance with standards like MISRA C.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles into OT environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system architects, hardware teams, and commissioning engineers.
  • Drive innovation in automation tooling, virtual commissioning, and digital twin technologies.

Requirements

Are you passionate about industrial automation, secure software engineering, and cutting-edge tooling development? We are seeking a dynamic Teamlead to drive the development of control software tooling and automation frameworks for OT devices such as Beckhoff TwinCAT. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in model-based design, secure coding, and automation software, including transformation tools like Embedded Coder from MathWorks., * Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in tool development for control software platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT, IEC 61131-3, and PLC programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder, and MATLAB Coder.
  • Familiarity with real-time simulation platforms (e.g., dSPACE, OPAL-RT).
  • Solid understanding of secure coding, CI/CD, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
