As a Cloud Project Technical Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing secure, high-performing environments that drive measurable outcomes for our clients. Working within a culture that values ownership, innovation, and collaboration, you will contribute to complex projects, ensuring seamless delivery across cloud platforms while continuously improving service quality and operational excellence., n this role, you will design, configure, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to high-quality standards. You will take ownership of technical delivery across Azure environments, working from detailed designs to build, patch, and configure systems while ensuring adherence to security and change control processes. You will also play a key role in enabling continuity by producing clear documentation and supporting effective handovers to operational teams.
You will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, contributing ideas to improve delivery efficiency and technical standards while being supported in developing your expertise. Flexibility is key, as you may work across CGI offices, client sites, and remotely, including occasional out-of-hours activities to support critical changes.
Deliver & Configure: Implement cloud environments using Azure services and Infrastructure as Code
Install & Optimise: Perform OS installations, patching, and firmware updates aligned to best practices
Govern & Assure: Adhere to change control, security, and ISO standards
Document & Transition: Produce high-quality documentation and support BAU handovers
Collaborate & Support: Work with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
To succeed, you will bring strong technical expertise in cloud architecture and Windows Server environments, combined with the ability to follow structured implementation plans and deliver high-quality outcomes. You will be a proactive communicator who can work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server architecture

Proven ability to install, patch, and configure enterprise systems
Experience working within ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards
Ability to follow detailed technical designs and implementation plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills
