Job description

· Working with the team to deliver high levels of customer service, responding to queries in line with SLAs

· Monitor, triage, and investigate incidents and alerts

· Perform patch management and support vulnerability remediation across client environments

· Maintain and improve client security solutions and overall security posture

· Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver effective outcomes

· Contribute to project delivery, ensuring timelines and standards are met

· Maintain and follow internal security frameworks and best practices

· Produce incident reports and "lessons learned" documentation

· Maintain internal and client security policies in line with industry standards

· Provide regular updates and recommendations to clients and the Security Operations Manager

Requirements

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our established team as we continue to grow. We are seeking someone with solid, hands-on experience in a cyber security operations centre who can quickly integrate into the team and make an immediate impact.

This role will involve working closely with the Security Operations Manager and SOC team to triage and investigate security incidents and alerts, support client compliance requirements, and play an active role in strengthening client security postures. You will be involved in patch management and vulnerability remediation, while also contributing to projects and the implementation of new security solutions.

The role requires strong communication skills, as you will regularly liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams, providing updates, recommendations, and a high standard of service in line with SLAs.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

· 1+ year of SOC or cyber security experience

· CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)

· Experience working with compliance frameworks such as NIST, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001

· Previous IT support/helpdesk experience is beneficial

Soft Skills Experience:

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Experience analysing, triaging, and investigating security alerts

· Passion for cyber security and continuous learning

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies

· Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development

Technology Experience:

· Microsoft 365 & Azure AD

· Email security solutions

· Windows & network hardening

· Operating systems: Windows, Windows Server, macOS, iOS, Android

· MDM solutions

· SIEM platforms

· Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)

· Patch management tools, * SOC/ Cyber Security: 1 year (required)

  • Support Help Desk: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
