Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front End Full Stack Web Developer to join our busy team. Working in the office alongside another web team member and our creative graphics team, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining client websites. You'll also be responsible for website hosting, plugin updates, domain management, and client email support., * Collaborate with the web and graphics teams to develop high-quality websites for a variety of international and national clients.

  • Build new websites and maintain existing ones across a range of industries.
  • Ensure all websites are built as designed and are fully responsive, delivering an excellent user experience on any device.
  • Manage website hosting, domain setups, and ensure plugins are up to date.
  • Ensure WordPress websites, including WooCommerce, function seamlessly.
  • Respond to client enquiries about website performance, emails, and domain management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and integrate them into projects where appropriate., * The opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from corporate websites to full marketing campaigns.

Requirements

Must haves:

  • Strong experience with WordPress, including WooCommerce.
  • Proficient understanding in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, GSAP, SCSS (SASS), HTML, CSS, MySQL and Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of Git, GitHub and deploying via Git & GitFlow.
  • Experience and basic understanding of Figma & Adobe XD.
  • Be able to build responsive websites that work seamlessly across devices.
  • Have a keen eye for design and the ability to translate it to a website.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical clients.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to translate design concepts into functional websites.
  • A willingness to solve problems, push your skills to the limit, and think outside the box.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of Apple Mac and the Mac OS.
  • Honesty is crucial, along with a desire to learn new skills and technologies.

Highly Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with third-party JS libraries (GSap.js, Splide.js).
  • Experience with Plesk Servers or other Linux-based servers.
  • Experience with AWS, RESTful API & UI Testing.
  • Experience with package managers (Composer, NPM).
  • Experience with website hosting, domain management, and email setups is desirable.
  • SEO knowledge and experience with Google/Bing PPC are not essential but highly desirable.
