As an IT Operations Manager, you will take on a key role in ensuring and further developing our local IT infrastructure. In this responsible position, you lead the entire IT Operations area, manage the reliable operation of our network and server landscapes as well as our data centers, and guarantee high availability. At the same time, you actively drive the evolution of our IT architecture and lead a dedicated team that ensures the smooth technical operations of our company.
Role and Responsibilities
- Leading and developing the team with an appreciative and inclusive leadership style
- Operating, maintaining, and continuously optimizing the IT infrastructure
- Ensuring the availability of networks, server environments, and data centers
- Monitoring and managing key security processes, including firewalls and access controls
- Responsibility for installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software
- Analyzing system performance and implementing targeted improvements
- Ensuring data protection in accordance with GDPR and internal guidelines
- Budget control for IT infrastructure systems
- Managing contracts and licenses as well as coordinating external service providers
- Close collaboration with global IT teams to comply with worldwide ASML standards, strategies, and infrastructure initiatives
- Developing IT policies and standards and aligning them with the global ASML organization

- Remuneration according to company collective agreement (with IG Metall) including 13th monthly salary and variable remuneration components

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT Operations, ideally in a leadership role
- Solid knowledge of data center infrastructures (servers, storage, networks, security, cloud)
- Experience in the installation, configuration, and analysis of IT systems
- Strong knowledge of data protection processes and GDPR requirements
- Strong, fluent communication skills in both German and English
