Job description
Do you enjoy not just supporting delivery processes, but actively making them better? Then you'll fit right in with us! As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) , you bring your experience to modern Kubernetes and automation setups and help teams deliver software to production efficiently, robustly, and with high quality. You'll work in an environment where platform engineering, self-service, standardization, and security by design play an important role. In general, you should be willing to take on on-call duty. If you are on call and respond to an incident, both duties are, of course, compensated separately and can give your monthly salary a noticeable boost.
Your job
- You build modern CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve existing delivery setups
- You automate build, test, and deployment processes and ensure stable, efficient, and traceable workflows
- You work closely with development teams, analyze existing processes, and help deliver software faster, more securely, and more reliably
- You work hands-on with Kubernetes-based environments and help design deployments and operational processes that are robust and practical
- You strengthen monitoring, transparency, and operational stability, and help further develop a clean observability setup in the application context
- You integrate security and quality mechanisms into delivery pipelines in a meaningful way and thereby strengthen a sustainable DevSecOps approach
- You take technical ownership in your area of expertise and actively contribute your experience to technical decisions and optimizations
Requirements
- You bring several years of experience in a DevOps environment and in working with Kubernetes
- You have strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable solutions
- Ideally, you have experience with cluster orchestration tools such as ClusterAPI or Gardener
- You have experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, or comparable tools in the monitoring and observability space
- You have a solid understanding of modern software development processes and methodologies, including GitOps and DevSecOps
- You work in a structured and pragmatic way, with high quality standards, and enjoy close collaboration with development teams
- You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
