Job description
We are seeking an experienced People Manager to lead one of our Data Operations teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of data operations that support our product development. You are part of the Data Operations leadership team and responsible for a team of 5 Veevans and multiple hundred curators. You know how to lead an engaged and high-performing team. Building a personal connection with your team and holding them accountable comes naturally to you. You are experienced in driving process improvements and skilled in data-driven decision-making. You are hands-on. Don't shy away from analyzing the data for your decisions yourself. Based on your understanding of the value a product adds to customers, you can shape operations and be a sparring partner to product managers. You will represent Data Operations in a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science. We care about a great cultural fit. - Guide Data Analysts in assessing the data quality
- Manage a high-performing team
- Manage relationships with stakeholders from different functions in Link
- Be hands-on in analyzing your team's performance
- Execute change with speed
Requirements
- Extensive people leadership experience (5+ years)
- Proven track record in process improvements
- Confident spreadsheet user (pivot tables, nested formulas)
- Excellent communication skills in English, * Experience in life sciences (education or professional experience)
- Experience in data product businesses
- Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
