Hardware Enablement Engineer Linux H/F

Build, maintain, and debug Linux kernels, initrd/initramfs, and squashfs images.- Validate OS and firmware (BIOS/UEFI, BMC, microcode) compatibility with hardware platforms.- Check for vulnerabilities, test fixes, and manage firmware flashing and validation.- Implement and manage PXE boot environments for bare-metal deployment.- Automate image building and deployment using scripts (Bash, Python), Ansible, and CI/CD tools.- Perform hardware bring-up and validate OS deployment on real hardware.- Manage containerized test environments for integration testing.- Collaborate with internal teams to support production hardware quality tools.- Take ownership of the image lifecycle and propose solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency.- Write and maintain documentation for firmware and OS validation processes.ABOUT YOUHard Skills- Strong knowledge of Linux internals (Kernel configuration, boot process, initrd/initramfs) and filesystem images.- Experience with firmware/hardware validation, all our sites year-round.
