Job description
As a DevOps Engineer at MieleX, you'll focus on building, operating, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform services. In close partnership with product and engineering teams, you'll help reduce lead time, lower failure rates, and provide a scalable, secure, and high-quality developer experience.
- You'll design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and platform services (e.g. container platforms, artifact repositories, secrets, and environments) with a strong automation-first mindset.
- You'll implement and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g. Azure) using Terraform or comparable tools.
- You'll participate in incident response, post-mortems, and root cause analyses; actively contribute to reducing MTTR.
- You'll build and continuously improve monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- You'll embed security and compliance controls into pipelines (e.g. secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code).
- You'll create and maintain templates, golden paths, and self-service capabilities to reduce lead time and cognitive load for development teams.
- You'll work closely with the Product Owner DevOps, DevOps Lead Engineer, and software/platform teams to deliver the DevOps roadmap.
- You'll drive improvements through metrics, automation, experimentation, and data-informed optimization.
Requirements
- You have strong hands-on knowledge of modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, Nuxt, and GraphQL, and are comfortable working with Python, Ruby, or Bash scripting.
- You bring practical experience with content delivery networks (such as Akamai), CI/CD pipelines (such as GitLab), containers and Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and cloud platforms like Azure.
- You have an in-depth understanding of DNS management and general networking principles.
- You thrive in Agile and DevOps settings, where collaboration and continuous improvement are part of how you naturally work.
- You have a solid grasp of reliability and observability concepts, including monitoring, alerting, and SLOs, and know how to put them into practice.
- You bring a strong automation mindset and a genuine commitment to quality in everything you deliver.
