Medior Platform Engineer

• Design and deploy Windows-based infrastructure solutions ensuring scalability and high availability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation scripts, and event-driven operations
• Manage and maintain servers and virtualization platforms, including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with development and security teams to optimise performance and enforce best practices
• Set up monitoring tools and produce reports on system performance, uptime, and incidents

You are a technically strong Platform Engineer with a solid foundation in IT Infrastructure and Private Cloud technologies. You thrive in environments where reliability, automation, and scalability are critical, and you are comfortable working across infrastructure, operations, and security domains. You bring a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams., * 3+ years' experience in IT infrastructure roles with strong Windows-based expertise

• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware) and infrastructure coding
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools such as Ansible
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, ServiceNow, and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
