Enterprise Applications Manager

• Lead the strategy, governance and delivery of enterprise applications across the organisation
• Own and develop application architecture, ensuring integration, scalability and alignment with business goals
• Define and manage the application lifecycle roadmap, including upgrades and modernisation
• Oversee application support, performance and availability, ensuring SLAs are consistently met
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and enhanced user experience across systems
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align applications with digital transformation and customer outcomes
• Manage third-party vendors and partners to ensure quality service and value for money
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Application Analysts and Support Analysts
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection (GDPR) and regulatory requirements
• Oversee budgets, licensing and contracts, ensuring effective cost and risk management

• Degree in a technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Must hold an appropriate professional qualification or have equivalent demonstrable experience (for example, ITIL, TOGAF, or a vendor-specific certification such as Microsoft).
• Proven experience managing enterprise applications in a complex, multi-system environment.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated experience leading application support and development teams, including vendor management and SLA delivery.
