Job description

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality software

solutions by planning, designing, and executing tests in line with business and technical

requirements. The role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts,

and stakeholders within an Agile delivery environment. Testing type is manual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to define test scenarios

  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts

  • Perform Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and User Acceptance

Testing (UAT)

  • Identify, log, and manage defects using test and defect management tools

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely defect resolution

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and

retrospectives

  • Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and test completion summaries

  • Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in SAP or S/4 Hana testing

  • Proven experience working as a Test Analyst / Software Tester

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Azure DevOps,

ALM)

  • Knowledge of SQL and basic database testing

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

  • Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST APIs)

  • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification

  • UK domain experience in Banking, Insurance, Retail, Public Sector, or NHS, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent
