Job description

They are now seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing team. You will support the delivery of critical defence programmes, providing systems engineering expertise across the full CADMID lifecycle. This includes designing and integrating complex systems, managing requirements, engaging with MoD stakeholders, and ensuring compliance, risk management, and thorough technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong systems engineering experience across the full CADMID lifecycle within defence/MoD programmes.
  • Expertise in system architecture, design, and MBSE methodologies.
  • Proven requirements engineering and stakeholder management skills. (including MoD engagement)
  • Experience integrating and testing complex systems or systems-of-systems.
  • Ability to manage risk, ensure compliance, and produce clear technical documentation.

Qualification of the Senior system engineer

  • 3 years minimum experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Valid/Active SC Clearance.
  • Experience with requirements management within UK MoD environments and knowledge of the acquisition framework.
  • Understanding of Defence Lines of Development and their impact on capability and requirements.
  • Awareness of operational environments. (e.g. geography, climate, cyber, and information domains)
  • Proficiency with requirements tools such as DOORS/Dimensions RM.
  • Familiarity with modern Systems Engineering approaches, including MBSE.
  • Ability to support business cases, requirements documentation (URD/SRD), and procurement activities.def

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
