Job description
*-The candidate shall be able to do basic and detail design of cable Tray layout of Powerhouse & its various floors, Tunnels, Pothead yard / Switchyard and DG layout. Active participation in basic design and detail design activities. -Standardization and methodology aspects layout activity, E3D/Autodesk Revit/Auto cad and preparation of BOM activity. -Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator -EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures of GE Vernova for design aspect., * To work on E3D /Autodesk Revit / & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant Cable and Cable tray networks modelling.
- Generate General arrangement drawings for cable Tray layout & erection drawing & Trench layout.
- Pothead yard / Switchyard layout detailing.
- Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Schedule, Cable filling study & Distribution Board Schedule.
- To review various vendor equipment drawings for layout interfaces & requirements.
- Organizing the Design Review Meetings of Basic & Detail design document.
- Generate clash check report from E3D & resolve if any interference found.
- Preparation of Single Line Diagram (Power, lighting, UPS, Control)
- Knowledge of Earthing & Lighting layouts.
- Prepare bill of material for various cable trays, cable tray supports & release in PLM tool.
- Should interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement & keep the record.
- Interaction with customer/other COEs/Region for various discussion/meeting.
- To review customer civil structural design drawings, civil construction drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E. Electrical Engineering
- Should be able to communicate/understand English language
- He/she should have minimum 12 to 15 years' experience on below activity.
- should have good knowledge of cad software, like E3D/Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD, MS office, etc.
- Should have good knowledge about Cable Tray support engineering.
- He/she should have good knowledge about hydro power plant layout, equipment arrangement/layout & should be good knowledge about plant network layout.
- Clash resolution.
- Site Support & resolution.
- Cabling route definition & Trays filling study.
- Project planning/scheduling, man-hours estimation, document checking., * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Established project management skills.
- Should be proactively initiate Layout interface and streamline.
- Should be able to anticipate & plan the project layout activities well in advance.
- should have good knowledge about EHS/safety rules which shall be considered during layout engineering.
- should have good knowledge of defining equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements, equipment handling requirement.
- Candidate having good knowledge of civil structural design (beam/column/slab/steel structure) which will be an added advantage.
