To provide highly effective, efficient and professional assistance to the Herts Divisional corporate team and Directors. This will include effective administrative support to the day-to-day administrative functioning of the service and corporate hub. This role will also support with Front of House cover on an adhoc basis when cover is needed.

The post holder will assist in the organisation of the managers workload, manage meeting invites and appointments, schedules, data reporting and routine correspondence when required and delegated to by the Head of CSU Managers.
Main duties of the job
To administer for various Senior Leadership Team & Director lead meetings.
Develop and maintain knowledge of the work that the management team is involved with in order to take appropriate decisions in the absence of the Business & project support or the manager and to advise on priorities.
Support with organization of diary's and meeting management for the managers by understanding the importance of their priorities, so that appointments can be rescheduled as appropriate to meet deadlines without compromising business or creating unmanageable timetables.
Establish and administer an efficient bring-forward system that enables deadlines to be met and risks managed and ensures that the manager is fully briefed prior to appointments.
Schedule formal meetings/training sessions, including video and tele-conferences, arranging room bookings and catering requests as well as organising IT equipment.

Requirements
Applicants are expected to present clear and relevant evidence of the competencies and responsibilities detailed in the attached Job Description and Person Specification, together with a demonstrated commitment to the Trusts values of Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment., * Good general standard of education at GCSE Level ( Grade A including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualifications)
- Education to diploma level or equivalent level combination of NVQ - 3 education or short courses and experience
- RSA II or equivalent
- ECOL Microsoft or equivalent, * Experience in running an office including managing, maintaining and developing databases and filing systems including bring forward, maintaining stationery /stock levels
- Experience of dealing with enquiries from the public and partner organisations
- Experience of prioritising workload to meet conflicting demands
- Experience of organising meetings and events including speakers, * Experience of working in the NHS/Public sector
- Experience of administering the recruitment and selection procedure
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to communicate at all levels and across a variety of agencies with negotiating, * Project management experience
